The SecureFusion Portal collects, stores and correlates asset discovery, vulnerability, configuration and policy management information from all SecureFusion modules. Forming the core of our solution, the portal is an information management platform that enables you to identify, manage and measure information security risks and asset management processes. The portal’s Web-based user interface provides you with complete command and control of a unified, enterprise scanning solution, including robust reporting, scheduling and workflow tasks.

How does it work?

Based on a service-oriented architecture, the SecureFusion Portal is populated from individual modules via Web services and XML-based protocols. It provides real-time, dynamic reporting of security and asset management information that is tailored for all audiences within the organization.

Executive and Technical Dashboards

Many risk management problems remain uncorrected because of untimely and inaccurate information in the hands of decision makers. For this reason, the SecureFusion Portal offers multiple dashboards designed for distinct audiences. Executive level, management level and technical level dashboards all feature unique data presentation appropriate for each audience. While the varying dashboards may present information formatted for different users, the strategic advantage of SecureFusion is that all reporting is based on the same, real-time data. The SecureFusion Portal will help your organization make critical risk-management and asset management decisions more efficiently, based on accurate and up-to-the-moment information.

Reporting

The SecureFusion Portal presents multi-dimensional views of asset and security data with graphics and metrics-based reporting. The portal provides fast and easy data mining capabilities such as keyword searches on all data, and dynamic report builders for specific reporting needs. Reportable data incorporates real-time asset information and security risks, remediation and mitigation progress. 

Metrics

SecureFusion is the first security information management solution to provide objective security metrics for continuous, automated measurement of security risks and accomplishments. Flexible and configurable metrics provide the basis for our global dashboard and scorecard. The security data is summarized to provide key metrics for business leaders, helping them understand and act on the data without having to comprehend the nuances and technical details of each data point.

Scheduling

An advanced scheduling engine within the SecureFusion Portal is used to control the scans and data collection processes for each integrated module. Detailed scheduling can be implemented by business, unit, location, network, platform and time/date. Recurring processes only need to be scheduled once. The portal incorporates blacklisting, bandwidth throttling and other features necessary to manage large enterprise deployments.

Workflow

Workflow is an integral part of the SecureFusion Portal’s functionality, providing the ability to assign remediation tasks, filter data, authorize technologies, blacklist devices and significantly ease the burden of managing the information.

Business Context

The portal provides one central location to manage the logical organization of the enterprise IT environment, including business units, locations, asset classes and categories, and network names. A logical, organized view of the enterprise IT landscape adds tremendous context to risk reporting, effectively transforming vast amounts of raw data into valuable, actionable information.

Application Security

All data communications are encrypted to and from the SecureFusion Portal. Role-based access is supported for auditor, user and administrator roles, and is easily integrated with Active Directory. In addition, object-level security is implemented with the ability to restrict access based on the type of data, the user’s business unit and/or location.
